A Massive Spending Problem

I don’t intend for this Blog to get political, but I must say that I become angry every time that politicians talk about solving our budget crisis by raising taxes. Depending on your source, we already pay a little over $1 trillion a year in taxes to the federal government, but they are spending about $3.7 trillion a year. In other words, even if tax revenue was doubled, we would still be well over $1 trillion in the hole, per year. This is truly frightening, and I hope that there are politicians who are ready to stand up and confront the real cause of our massive debt, namely out of control spending.
